TEACHING POSITIONS

St Stanislaus’ College Bathurst is in the final stages of confirming a record Year 7 enrolment intake in 2023. To support us in educating and caring for these young men, we are pleased to invite expressions of interest from enthusiastic teachers in the following subject areas: 

English Teacher (the ability to teach History would be advantageous)

Inclusion and Learning Support Teachers

Senior Science Teacher (must have experience teaching Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

These positions will be offered on an ongoing basis commencing Term 1, 2023.

CASUAL TEACHER

St Stanislaus’ College Bathurst is seeking expressions of interest for casual teaching roles across a range of subjects.

BOARDING HOUSE SUPERVISORS

Boarding House Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of boarders ensuring that all Boarding House routines and expectations set by the College are met. Boarding House Supervisors are rostered to supervise a year group each shift and ensure that students are meeting their required routine for that shift. Boarding House Supervisors liaise with the Head of Boarding and Houseparents on all matters associated with student care and will be aware of and respond to the pastoral needs of boarding students.

Applicants must be available to work morning shifts from 6.50am to 8.50am along with afternoon/evening and weekend shifts. Boarding House Supervisors may also be required to complete on-call shifts during the school term which requires residing overnight at the College one to two nights per week on a rotational basis. 

The College is also seeking staff who would be able to cover overnight shifts from 11pm to 2am. 

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with and mentoring young people; excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with students and staff; confidentiality and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues; be a team player with a positive and professional disposition and have excellent communication skills.
